The Panopticum was the high securiy tract, created in 1896, an architectural master piece of its time.
26 rooms as well as a refectory, a meeting room, and washing rooms surround a former garden. In the
center of the green there was a "quiosque", an observation point, from where a guard had a view to all cells.
